Design a mission taking place inside a Third-person stealth game. Choose a location best suited to your goal and with the provided gameplay ingredients, design a scenario that frames the objective and the actions the player is taking in your mission.

The Mission Design Document

Scenario

The Royal Ontario Museum, located in Toronto, Ontario, is the largest museum in Canada. Crowds gathered to experience the unveiling of a new artifact, the ancient Pharaoh Akhenaten’s Tome of Aten, the Sun God. However, as the visitors and staff gathered around, the sun glared through the windows, landing on Aten’s Tome. Almost immediately, all those nearby began to act violently, mumbling something about one true god. The Tome quickly took control of the nearby staff and visitors, and the building was soon evacuated and locked down. Those under the Tome’s control now guard the facility, reacting violently to any trespassers.

To reduce the chance of casualties and damage, the military has sent just you, their best trained operator, on a solo mission to infiltrate the museum, find, retrieve, and reseal the Tome in hopes of possibly reverse engineering a cure for the victims and preventing further spread.

4. Retrieve the Tome of Aten

5. Return to the extraction point – Armored Transport Truck

Mission Success/Failure Conditions

Success State

The Tome is retrieved and the player safely gets to the extraction point.

Failure State

The player dies or fails to retrieve the Tome.
